
Wonder Home Children Center Wonder Home Children Center is an Early Childhood Development Programme that caters for Orphans, Poor and Destitute children in the heart of Kilifi Town in Kilifi District- Coast Province in Kenya. Started in 2006 by locals, it addresses the plight of the increasing number of poor children in the district. At its inception Wonder Home Children Center had 8 children. Today the Center has over 90 children from diverse backgrounds, religion and traditions. The Center faces a lot of challenges among them operating from a rental facility, dwindling support from the local due to hard economic times, ignorance to girl-child education, increasing number of destitute children and orphans due to HIV/AIDS related deaths of their parents/guardians. The Centre runs Three (3) major Programs. These are: Health Provision of Education Feeding Program Our Mission Improving access to health for Orphans, destitute and vulnerable children.
